The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Names National CotYTM (Contractor of the Year) Winners
Contractors from seven regions nationwide vie for the awards on an annual basis. An impartial panel of judges, who are experts within the industry and associated fields, selected winners based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and entry presentation.
We transformed this basement into a retreat and practice space for a guitar enthusiast. The rooms feature built-in storage cabinets constructed from warm sapele wood paneling. One highlight is the custom “wave” acoustical ceiling, a client request. A cushioned bench near an amplifier allows for maximum shredding on the guitar. Lighted wall displays showcase the collection. An existing concrete nook facilitated the addition of a safe room, which the owner can use in case of intrusion, natural disaster or as secure storage. The entry keypad is in another location, and the room has an emergency release button.
